Stop the Scramble. Start the Strategy.

Expert Geratric Advocacy and Systems Navigation for Seattle Families

My Why

“I’ve been where you are. Even with my clinical background, it was overwhelming.”

In 2019, when my mother was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer at just 62, my world shifted. Despite being a medical social worker, I found myself drowning in the “never-ending logistics” of her care while parenting a toddler and navigating my own anticipatory grief.

We were scrambling to get affairs in order that we thought we had decades to handle. That “trial by fire” taught me a truth that books couldn’t: Even the most capable families need a navigator.

It has been over five years since her passing, and I have turned that profound challenge into a mission. I provide the professional “brain” to handle the logistics and the clinical “heart” to support your grief, so you can focus on being a daughter, a son, or a spouse—not just a project manager.

Testimonials

“So, I had been putting off my estate planning responsibilities for more years than I want to admit. But now, with Lark’s help we have a clear picture of all the tasks at hand, and have already made big progress in checking off some of the time consuming items. She is professional, kind, and a pleasure to work with. Who knew getting such an important part of your life organized (yes estate planning!) could actually be kind of fun.

One thing for sure, I’ll be putting money in my will to hire Lark in her role of Post-Passing Assistance. It will take a lot of the stress off my daughter/executor to have her help. I know from experience that it is a ton of work to tie up all of the loose ends involved in executing the will, and following through on all of the details of getting through the legal probate process.

“When my friend was diagnosed with cancer, he was overwhelmed in navigating the system. I wanted to help, but I didn’t have the bandwidth or expertise. I felt in gifting him time with Lark, he was in the best hands possible.”

Val T

“When my dad was diagnosed with late stage, terminal cancer last year, I suddenly became responsible for coordinating his medical care, managing his finances, and getting his affairs in order. Lark was responsive, organized, and compassionate – helping me prioritize in an overwhelming situation, giving me more space to focus on my final weeks with my dad.”
